Battlefield Hardline Problems Hit PS4 & Xbox One

Published

on

There are Battlefield Hardline server problems preventing some players from joining games and knocking other players out of games on Xbox One and PS4. These addition Battlefield Hardline problems come a day after a DDOS attack knocked many Xbox One Battlefield Hardline players offline.

Although there is a single player mode the online multiplayer component of Battlefield Hardline is the star of the show with heists, car chases and a lot of action — when players can connect.

The Battlefield Hardline problems spread from Xbox One to PS4 today as a growing number of players report issues connecting to the Battlefield Hardline servers to find a match. It’s nor clear if the server prioritization that is part of the $49.99 Battlefield Hardline Premium upgrade helps those users avoid these issues.

“You have lost connection to the server.” is just one of the Battlefield Hardline errors that users report seeing on Reddit for the PS4 Battlefield Hardline game and that GameStop reported on earlier today.

Although the just launched PSN Status page shows that all servers are up and running and the Xbox Live Status page does not mention any specific Battlefield Hardline problems but does warn that “Social and Gaming” are “Limited”.

Late on March 18th Battlefield shared a statement, but there has not been a major update since. In response to the Battlefield Hardline problems, the official Twitter account shared,

“We are aware of the ongoing connectivity issues. We’ve got our best on it and hope to resolve soon. Thanks for your patience.”

We’re still waiting to hear what the cause of the Battlefield Hardline problems are. On Twitter a growing number of users chimed in to share their growing frustration with Battlefield Hardline server problems on PSN and Xbox Live.

Some users report that they can play Battlefield Hardline without any server problems, but there is no official all clear from the Battlefield Hardline team. On Reddit a Visceral Developer shared,

“Top men are working to resolve this issue as soon as possible. Hang in there guys!”

If you see others able to connect and play but you are still experiencing Battlefield Hardline problems, you may need to power cycle your modem or router by unplugging them for a minute and then turning the console off and unplugging it for a few minutes and then trying everything again. Once the Battlefield Hardline problems are fixed on the server end you still need to deal with the possibility of problems on your network.

Not just you fella and it’s not the disc, I will get it a few times when in a multiplayer game (digital download). Have died many times to it.

Has anybody had a problem with the campaign Mode? I got up to episode nine and it just froze up. I had to uninstalland and reinstall the game. Started the campaign back from the beginning and was only able to get half way to episode two and froze up again.

@Battlefield First time I ever bought the game Battlefield, had it for 3 days now and maybe got three non laggy games in on mp. If I get into a mp game, I cant even get any kills… Really annoying, its making me question why I even bought the game… 60 $ down the drain.

Game crashes still for me after entering a mp match. No lag just crash straight to xb1 home screen. All ea wants to do is trouble shoot everything I’ve done. Ive done this 6x this year with no fix in sight. I want my money back. Great game, shitty customer service.
