Google Nexus 7 (2013)

The 2nd generation Nexus 7 made by Google and ASUS is still hands-down one of the best Android tablets available. It originally retailed for just over $200, but now that it's showing a little age the price has dropped significantly. That said, it's still highly capable, runs the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow, and had to make our list.

The Nexus 7 is also one of the smaller tablets from our list, for those that don't want something too big. It features a 7-inch 1920 x 1200 Full HD display, a powerful NVIDIA Quad-core processor with 2GB of RAM, and comes with 16GB for $129, or 32GB of storage for $184. Those prices were both over $200 when it first launched, but now can be found for extremely cheap.

Google's tablet is starting to show its age, but with the update to Android 6.0 Marshmallow it's one of the fastest tablets around still. Battery life and performance are better than ever before, and it's still one capable little device.
