Venmo isn't quite as well-known and used as much as PayPal, but it's still a rather popular option that many iPhone users resort to.

With Venmo, you can send money to friends and request money as well. You can connect a credit card, debit card, or bank account, with a 2.9% fee for using a credit card.

Venmo is a bit unique, in that it has social features that allows you friend other users and see other transactions that your friends have sent to other friends. It's a bit weird, but if you're all in a group that goes out for dinner (for example), it can be fun to see everyone pay each other back and attach witty comments to them.
