So unlike the cheap YooTech model above, the Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge will charge wireless no matter where you place it on the mat. Rather than having to get it right or it won't work, this should recharge your phone no matter what. In portrait or landscape mode sitting on the charger. There is one downside to the big CHOETECH, which is that it needs a good quality Quick Charge wall plug to power it. Having three coils it takes a lot of power, and if buyers use a cheap wall plug from an old phone it won't get the required power to recharge wirelessly, not to mention "Fast Wireless charging". So get it, and get a good Quick Charge 2.0 certified wall plug and you're good to go. This one is expensive, and needs the wall plug, but the bigger design is best for some. Agreed! I still don’t feel comfortable w/ any of these aftermarket QI chargers. Samsung just released their “fast charger” even that one doesn’t state 15w. Although they have reported the s7 supports the newest 15w chargers, I guess they don’t have enough faith in their statement to release a 15w charger of their own.

I just looked on amazon and it specifically says it is not compatible for the s7 edge, so I will have to look for something else

The fast wireless charging pad usually takes about 1 hours and 10 minutes for the galaxy note 5 smartphone. A little slower than the cable itself but is great for convience

Hi, not sure how this will make my life any easier as l will still have to leave the phone in one spot whilst it charges. What would be an improvement is that if the wireless dock charged your phone as soon as you walked through your front door, like wireless broadband, lessening the need for leaving the phone by the dock. Just a thought :)
