Fenix or Flamingo

Two of the best apps for Twitter I've used lately are Fenix and Flamingo. For the sake of time, we added both into this slide to help streamline your decision. Fenix has a beautiful user interface, nice in-line image previews, external browsers and tons of additions that the regular Twitter app simply doesn't offer.

It's by far one of the best, and most complete, but costs over $3.00 to use. Without going into too much detail just know it's one of the better choices around, so download it from the link below and see for yourself.

Robird is one of those hidden gems not too many users know about. It's extremely minimal, powerful, and customizable, yet works great at all times. They've recently updated the UI to match Android Material Design, and it looks great right down to floating compose buttons and more. It's one of the most polished, clean, and fast Twitter apps available in 2016.

Robird has push notifications, streaming timeline over WiFi or mobile data, TweetMarker sync, auto refresh, save drafts, inline image previews (and disable options), a card-style UI, and tons of notification options. Add in the themes, add-ons, and everything else, and this is certainly worth considering.

Sadly the developer somewhat quit development and now has a completely new version called Robird Reborn, which is another excellent option, but paid, and then has in app purchases. Stick to the older Robird.

Then we have Flamingo, it was probably the most popular Twitter client of 2016, and is still one of the best options available in 2017. It has a clean, bright and colorful user interface. However, if that's all too much for you everything is extremely customizable. More so than most. Make Twitter look, feel and operate exactly how you want it, with Flamingo.

Flamingo even has support for previews for Instagram, GIFs, YouTube, live-streaming of tweets and updates, and so much more. It's one of the most powerful options around. In terms of features and customization. There's nothing more to be said, if you want the most options, get this one.

Download Flamingo ($2.49)
