New Lethals & Tacticals & Weapon Info

During a live stream we learned a little bit about the Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare weapons.

The first thing we learned is that you will not be using space weapons that shoot lasers. Jacob Minkoff shared that these will be projectile based weapons. Part of this ties into the scarcity of resources that drives the narrative of the game.

Yes, Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is in the future, but it is one where you will still need to shoulder a weapon that fires hot lead at the enemies. We see many Bullpup style weapons in the trailer and Assault rifles as well.

During this interview the team at Infinity Ward also announced that they are excited to deliver new lethals and tacticals which will influence gameplay. We don't know what these will be, but Lead Designer of Infinite Warfare Joe Cecot, teased, "We have kind of a whole new stable of lethals and tacticals for the player to kind of engage with and to try and you’re going to see some of that in our upcoming trailers and it’s pretty spectacular."

In the campaign you fight humans, so don't expect to see special aliens and alien weapons in this game.
