You can level up your player and your division. When you level up your division you will unlock features that are similar to perks and when you level up in your division, you also get XP that helps your player level up. Stick with a division to race through those levels as soon as you can to maximize your time and earn more overall XP faster.

Part of leveling up faster is also playing the right mode. There are two ways that you can approach this, depending on how you play.

Play War Mode

If you play the objective, playing the new Call of Duty: WWII War Mode is a good way to get a lot of XP in one match. This will help you level up quicker based on the number of games you play.

You will need to be objective focused and stick to that through the full match. The major catch with this avenue is that War games take a lot longer than most other matches. If you want to cycle through games faster and still earn Call of Duty: WWII XP quickly you should check out other modes.

Play Domination, HardPoint or Kill Confirmed

For shorter matches that are more traditional Call of Duty, the current consensus is to play Hardpoint or Domination. If you play these matches quickly and you play the objective you will earn XP fast. You can’t just go in and farm XP by sitting in a corner. You will need to go hard at the objective so that you can earn XP faster.

Here’s the other catch to all of these modes that offer higher XP payout. If you aren’t good at those game modes or you just don’t like them, skip them and play what you like. We’re going to be grinding in Hardcore Kill Confirmed. Typically Kill Confirmed offers good XP payout as long as you pick up your tags.

Play The Call of Duty: WWII Orders

You can get daily orders and weekly orders that allow you to earn unique rewards. These may mostly be Supply Drops, but we typically see XP bonuses for completely objectives like this. You can complete three weekly orders and six daily orders in a week or in a day, respectively. We’ll add more as we explore these options.

Play the Call of Duty: WWII Contracts

Similar to challenges and objectives in other Call of Duty games, you have contracts that you need to complete to earn rewards. These include kills, headshots, kills in specific game modes, kills with specific weapons and other activities timed up with multiplayer games.

Spend the time to pick out a few to work on each time you play and you will be able to earn more XP. If you time this up with Double XP, you can level up even faster without playing more.

Call of Duty: WWII Double XP

You need to take advantage of all the Call of Duty: WWII XP you can get. If you pre-order, you get four hours of 2XP. If you play online during the launch week, you get free 2XP and if you eat at Buffalo Wild Wings enough you can also get Double XP.

Call of Duty: WWII Tips & Tricks

We’ll be adding Call of Duty: WWII tips as we play more, but some always ring true.

First off, make sure you find the best Division and weapons for your play style. While you will earn XP faster by sticking with one Division until you level it up, you shouldn’t worry too much about switching to a new Division if it will help you play better.

Check out the information on the best Call of Duty: WWII gun so that you can use one that gives you the biggest advantage.

When you start playing one option is to go hard and aim for the objectives instead of worrying about your K/D ratio. It’s going to be tough to bring it up later, but if you care more about leveling up than about that stat, you can be more adventurous.

Call of Duty: WWII Season Pass: 4 Reasons to Buy & 2 to Wait

Buy if Call of Duty: WWII is Still Your Go to Game

Is Call of Duty: WWII your game? If you are sticking with Call of Duty while half the population jumps to Fortnite Battle Royale and PUBG, this is a good investment.

This is still the go to boots on the ground version of Call of Duty, and even with Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 on the way it makes sense to buy the Season Pass if you will play Call of Duty: WWII for most of 2018 and into 2019.

If you think you will buy all of the maps because you loved the first 8 months of Call of Duty: WWII or because you like the direction the game is going with each update, you should buy the Season Pass.

For gamers who are planning to play Call of Duty: WWII for a year, it doesn't make sense to wait and buy the DLC separately or even to skip one or two of them since that will limit the matchmaking as you get split into a smaller and smaller pool.

You save $10 over buying the DLC individually, you get a bonus and you may still need to wait a long time for a deal.
