Can’t Make it to Google I/O 2011? Catch Up with Keynotes, Videos Via Google

If you can’t make it to Google I/O this year and are interested in Android’s developments for Android smartphone, tablets, and Google TV, you can catch up with the latest news, sessions, and keynotes coming out of the official Google conference via Google. The Android software-maker will be live-streaming the Google I/O keynotes this year, and videos for the breakout sessions will be available within 24 hours for those at home who can’t make it to San Francisco, California.

You can visit the I/O webpage for a list of available sessions that developers can attend to and earmark the ones that you may want to follow up later through video coverage.

Given that Google recently launched Android 3.0 Honeycomb just a few months ago as a completely re-designed experience for Android tablets, tablets may be getting a lot of attention at I/O this year. Also, within the past few months, there is also rumors that Google will be updating its Google TV platform to version 2.0, which will be geared at better performance, a lower price point, support for third-party apps, and more. Rumors coming from the Google TV 2.0 camp include ARM CPU support to reduce costs–the current Google TVs released are with Intel chipsets, along with the platform being based on the Android 3.0 Honeycomb platform.

Another component to I/O may be announcements for streaming videos and music.
