Dell Marketing Spotlights Almost 24 Hour Battery Life

The flier included in the local paper shows Dell’s new push into the nearly 24-hour battery life game.  For a reasonable $879 (after $265 instant savings), you can type all day and close to all night with the new Latitude E6400.  While hearing of the E6400’s release isn’t new, Dell’s approach towards 24-hour battery life seems to be rivaling that of HP.  Competition into the realm of all day computing is a good thing as prices will ultimately begin to fall and battery life technology will continue to improve.

The E6400’s specs include:

• Intel Core 2 Duo Processor
• Windows Vista Home Basic
• Newer design that is more durable and designed for mobility
• Keyboard with optional backlit blue LED lighting
• 14.1 LED Display
• Enhanced battery life of up to 19 hours with optional slice
