Dragon Quest XI is coming to two of Nintendo’s video game consoles. First up is the Nintendo 3DS, which will support both 2D and 3D play styles. That version of the role-playing game will also make use of both the console’s screens.
As for the Nintendo Switch version, so far, the only thing we know is that developer Square Enix is still planning to launch the game on the platform. As with previous games in the series, this version will keep the turn-based combat system alive. Square Enix has yet to confirm when Dragon Quest XI will launch outside of Japan. Fortunately, Nintendo Switch consoles and games aren’t region locked. You should be able to import the Japanese version.
