It seems that every video game console has its share of farming simulators. The Nintendo Switch is getting two. The other is Farming Simulator. One of them is the much talked about Stardew Valley. Originally available on Windows PCs, Stardew Valley has an isometric camera that looks down at the game world.
As the game’s story goes, Stardew Valley players move to take over a farm to escape a job in corporate America. Players are to mine for material, plus monitor their crops and livestock to keep them alive. There’s even some crafting sprinkled throughout the game. It’s said to be incredibly addictive. There’s really no ending to it.
We only know that Stardew Valley will arrive on Nintendo Switch in the second or third quarter of this year.
