Fighting games are another one of the genre’s Nintendo is hoping to do well in. After all, Joy-Cons have motion sensors that seem as if they were practically made for fighting titles that require you to get off the couch and move your arms. That’s what Arms is for.
Launching sometime this spring, Arms is both a motion game and a typical game that you play with a controller. Players control characters with elongated arts that expand away from their body. It’s up to gamers whether they use the console’s motion technology or standard controls. They’ll need to dodge and move as opponents throw different styles of attacks. Different weapons provide certain advantages in the game’s combat.
