Expect the Fallout 4 1.3 update's fixes to go a long way towards stabilizing the game. However, you can also expect the new update to bring some new problems of its own to PC, Xbox One and PS4. It's the nature of the game.

The testing process and the feedback that beta testers provided almost certainly eliminated a number of issues ahead of the public release but bugs and problems always manage to slip through the cracks. 

A number of PC 1.3 patch users are already running into trouble with the update and we expect complaints to pick up as more people find and download the update. Early issues include crashes, various glitches and more. 

We'd expect the Xbox One and PS4 versions of the 1.3 patch to be plagued with issues as well so it would be wise to keep a list of manual fixes handy just in case you run into performance issues or something else in the days ahead. 

Bethesda's promised smaller and more frequent updates for Fallout 4. This will allow them to "make sure each fix is working right, as any change can have unintentional side effects in a game this huge."
