Believe it or not, the Fallout 4 release date is just a few short weeks away. And with that in mind, we want to take a look at five important things to know about the Fallout 4 Pip Boy Edition with just about a month to go before its highly anticipated release for Xbox One, PC and PlayStation 4.

When Bethesda announced Fallout 4 back at E3 2015, it announced two versions of the game. One, the standard Fallout 4 release for Xbox One, PS4, and PC. The other, the Fallout 4 Pip Boy Edition, a collectors edition that comes with a ton of items including a real Pip Boy.

Fallout 4 will make use of two versions of the Pip Boy. The one that the in-game character will utilize on his or her wrist. And the real-life Pip Boy that allows real people to pop in their smartphone, download an app and use the device like the in-game character would.

As you might know, there was a ton of interest in the Fallout 4 Pip Boy Edition. So much so that the game sold out virtually everywhere in a matter of weeks. U.S. retailers are no longer taking pre-orders and Bethesda isn’t making any more Pip Boy Editions ahead of release. That doesn’t mean you can’t find one though.

With just a few weeks to go, we’ve been taking a close look at the Fallout 4 release date. And today, we want to take a look at five important things buyers need to keep in mind as we push towards the Fallout 4 Pip Boy Edition release date. Which, like the regular version of Fallout 4, is November 10th.

Fallout 4 Pip Boy Edition Price Falling Ahead of Release

Bethesda isn't making any more Pip Boys and U.S. retailers are no longer selling the Fallout 4 Pip Boy Edition. And while some buyers have been cancelling their pre-orders and alerting others, we don't expect retailers like Amazon to issue any stock ahead of November 10th.

So what do you do if you want a Fallout 4 Pip Boy Edition ahead of the November 10th release date? Well, you can research an order through an international retailer, or, you can keep your eyes glued to a reseller like eBay.

Fallout 4 Pip Boy Edition prices used to be ridiculous on eBay. Scalpers were looking for $500+ for the rights to a Pip Boy Edition pre-order. With just a month to go before the Fallout 4 release date, the landscape has changed. Dramatically.

You're still going to have a hard time finding a Fallout 4 Pip Boy Edition at its regular $120 price point but prices on eBay have dropped down into the $200-300 range. Not ideal but it's much better than spending $500.

We'll continue to see the price fluctuate as we approach the release date and we expect some people to get cold feet in November. Keep your eyes peeled for deals as people try and get rid of a game, and device, that they won't be using themselves.
