Fallout 4 PS4 & Xbox One Release: 10 Things We Want

Published

on

In early June, Bethesda finally confirmed the next installment in the popular Fallout series, a game that’s unsurprisingly called Fallout 4. While the developer confirmed several key Fallout 4 release details, it didn’t confirm them all, leaving some announcements for its press conference at E3. Today, ahead of the big reveal, we tell you about some things that we want from the Fallout 4 release.

It’s hard to believe but its been well over six years since Bethesda released the third installment in the Fallout series, a game more commonly known as Fallout 3. In those six years, we’ve seen a new Fallout game (Fallout: New Vegas arrived in 2010) and tons of Fallout 4 rumors.

Fallout 4 rumors have been swirling around since 2012. And while some details including the game’s setting managed to leak out ahead of time, Bethesda and its partners managed to keep an extremely tight lid on most of the key elements to the game. Even now, we’re still not sure exactly what Fallout 4 will entail.

Earlier this month, Bethesda released a teaser, which can be seen above, and a website that beckons gamers to pre-order the game for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 or PC.

The company has promised more details at its E3 press conference on June 14th and it’s there that we’ll probably see the game in action for the first time. Bethesda will be live streaming the event so that those not in attendance will be able to catch up with the Fallout series.

With a Fallout 4 release now confirmed and new details still a few days away, we want to dig into a wish list that’s been six plus years in the making. Here are a few things that we want from Bethesda’s Fallout 4 release for Xbox One, PS4, and PC.

Fallout 4 Release Date in 2015

Fallout 4 Release Date in 2015

Let's start with one of the most obvious things any fan of the Fallout series could want from the Fallout 4 release: A Fallout 4 release in 2015.

If you're like me, you've been waiting a long time for the next installment in the series. I played and beat both Fallout 3 and Fallout New Vegas (and all of the Elder Scrolls games for good measure) and I loved them. Fallout New Vegas might even take the cake over Fallout 3. It's a tough call.

Needless to say, the Fallout 4 trailer was a huge revelation. And while I don't have as much time to play games, there's no doubt that I will be buying Fallout 4 for the Xbox One. I just hope that I can buy it this year rather than next.

All signs point to a Fallout 4 release date in 2015 so I'm not overly concerned but until Bethesda confirms the release date on stage I'm going to be sweating. Fingers crossed.
