As we approach November 10th, we continue to see new and important Fallout 4 release details emerge. We just picked up on a crucial Xbox One pre-load problem and we also recently confirmed the Fallout 4 file size for PS4. These are small details but they’re extremely important.

The PC Fallout 4 release date is getting the same treatment. We’ve seen a ton of new information emerge in the past week as we close in on Bethesda’s big day. Fallout fanatics probably have it all down but casual gamers might need some extra assistance and that’s what we aim to provide here.

Here, we want to outline five important things to remember ahead of the PC Fallout 4 release date. There’s something in here for everybody and you’ll want to keep these in mind as we approach the Fallout 4 release time. Take a look.

Fallout 4 Release Time & PC Pre-Load

Fallout 4 Release Time & PC Pre-Load

The first thing to remember is that the Fallout 4 release date depends on where you live in the United States.

If you live on the east coast, you'll be able to start playing the physical or digital version of Fallout 4 right at 12:01AM Eastern. This is when stores in the United States will start selling the PC version game without a pre-order.

So, if you live on the west coast or somewhere outside of the Eastern time zone, your Fallout 4 release date is actually November 9th. On the west coast, you'll be able to start playing the game at 9:01PM Pacific.

If you want to play the game right when it's released and you bought the game digitally, you can pre-load the game right now. Pre-loads started on Friday and they allow those of you who bought through Steam or another retailer to download the files right now so that you're ready to go on Monday or Tuesday.

Remember, there is no way to pre-load the game ahead of time if you're buying the physical version of the game. This includes the Pip Boy Edition.

You'll need to take advantage of a midnight Fallout 4 release or if that option isn't available, remain as patient as humanly possible.

The Xbox One and PS4 versions of Fallout 4 are getting a day one patch and we could see a day one patch for PC as well. Keep that in mind because it could add to your installation time.
