PC Fallout 4 Release: 5 Things You Can’t Forget
Fallout 4 PC Specs | ||||||
Remember, you're not going to be able to fire up the ole Gateway computer and play this game. Well, unless you have a really souped up Gateway. The PC Fallout 4 release comes with some minimum and recommended specifications that we'll outline down below. Two things you'll want to remember about those. First, if can't figure out if your rig can run Fallout 4, there's an easy way to check. Head on over to Can You Run It and download the tool. It'll match your specs versus Fallout 4's requirements and give you a read on whether or not you need to upgrade. Second, remember that the game will run poorly (and most likely be playable) if your specs don't meet those requirements. Bethesda isn't saying what will happen if your PC is under-spec'd but it's clear that it's not going to run well, if it even runs at all. Now, as a reminder, here are the specs that you need to remember: Minimum Specs Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit OS required) Intel Core i5-2300 2.8 GHz/AMD Phenom II X4 945 3.0 GHz or equivalent 8 GB RAM 30 GB free HDD space NVIDIA GTX 550 Ti 2GB/AMD Radeon HD 7870 2GB or equivalent Recommended Specs Windows 7/8/10 (64-bit OS required) Intel Core i7 4790 3.6 GHz/AMD FX-9590 4.7 GHz or equivalent 8 GB RAM 30 GB free HDD space NVIDIA GTX 780 3GB/AMD Radeon R9 290X 4GB or equivalent | ||||||
