Wasteland Workshop Fallout 4 DLC: 4 Things to Expect & 3 Not To

Published

on

The Automatron Fallout 4 DLC is out and we’re now cruising through the month of April. Today we want to take a look at a few things to expect from the release of the next piece of Fallout 4 DLC for Xbox One, PC and PS4: The Wasteland Workshop.

Earlier this year, Bethesda finally detailed its first three Fallout 4 DLC expansion packs. The company plans to release more DLC later this year but this trio serves as the initial offering for Xbox One, PS4 and PC.

The first Fallout 4 add-on is Automatron, a $10 piece of content that adds new quests, enemies, and customizable robot companions to the game.

Later this month, Bethesda will release another Fallout 4 DLC add-on.

After Automatron comes Wasteland Workshop, the second piece of Fallout 4 DLC and one that will only cost you $5 to acquire.

Bethesda finally confirmed the Wasteland Workshop release date for April 12th but it remains mum about many other release details. And that’s why we want to make a few predictions today.

This a look at what we expect from the Fallout 4 Wasteland Workshop release for Xbox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. This looks at the Wasteland Workshop release time, where you’ll be able to buy the add-on , and more.

We expect Bethesda to release some new details in the near future but this will help set your expectations in the meantime.

If you’re planning to buy Wasteland Workshop or you own the Season Pass, keep these things in mind as we push toward its April 12th release date.

Expect the Rest of the Details on Monday

Expect the Rest of the Details on Monday

Bethesda's Wasteland Workshop announcement included the release date (April 12th) and a teaser trailer that outlines the content coming with the DLC. That's about it.

Missing are the Wasteland Workshop release time, the DLC's size, the retailers that will sell it, and more. Bethesda hasn't said when it will confirm those details but we'd expect a majority of them to arrive on Monday just before the release.

This is precisely what it did with Automatron. It spent a few days teasing features (we'd expect the company to post some Wasteland Workshop teasers this week and over the weekend) before it started talking about the rest of the the DLC release details.

So, enjoy your weekend and check back in on Monday for everything else.

I think the wasteland workshop is going to allow for new prefabs and a lot of cool new building options you can kind of tell from the only released image of this also from the automaton update you can scrap the catwalks in the mechanists lair I believe they will become available to build I think the main purpose of the wasteland workshop is to target those who like the building mechanics of the game to inspire better looking settlements I spend hours building in the game and wish for so many options personally I wish I worked for them lol.

Could these articles ever be anything other than a cheap grab to get people to come and you to be paid for advertisement views? If this author really thinks this is a worthwhile article, than they need to return to psych 101 and do something else.

Who didn’t already expect EVERY single thing that was written? Another poorly written article just to grab attention. Sickening how cheap of a price folks put on their pride nowadays.

Seriously Adam Mills? I’m all for misleading titles, but c’mon man.. It should not take you seven pages to relay a speculative time frame for the release date? I didn’t expect you to know the exact date and time of the release. I mean, I know that ultimately, the goal is to jam as many ads down the reader’s throat as possible. Nevertheless I also didn’t expect seven agonizing pages droning on and on about something that could have very obviously been neatly summed up in a single paragraph.
Next time humor us and allot a paragraph or two to something a bit more substantial and worthy of 7 potential pages of unnecessary scrutiny, such as the recently released trailer for the workshop dlc. At least this way it is possible that the copious ads won’t appear quite as overbearing, and you will appear to be worthy of a paycheck.
