Far Cry 5 Trailer Shows Off The First Great Game of 2018

Watch the new Far Cry 5 trailer and prepare yourself for an exciting addition to the Far Cry series. Forget going Primal, and come to Montana where you will need to find friends in Hope County who can help you save the community from a violent cult.

In the new Far Cry 5 trailer, we see in-game footage, but it stops short of showing us actual gameplay. There is a lot we learn from this trailer, and if you loved Far Cry 4 it looks like Ubisoft is ready to deliver a lot of the same fun you’ve been missing.

In the Far Cry 5 trailer, we learn more about the plot of the game and we see some of the vehicles you will be able to enjoy throughout Hope County. While we don’t know how big the map is, you get free reign over the “rivers, lands and skies,” with customizable weapons and vehicles.

This short Far Cry 5 video shows off a variety of modern weapons including shotguns, pistols, AR-style weapons, hunting rifles, and melee weapons. From a vehicle standpoint, there are trucks mounted with light machine guns, airplanes to shoot from, off road trucks, semis, ATVs to share with a shooter, trucks to blow up and much more.

We don’t know what the Far Cry 5 weapon customizations will offer yet, nor how you will customize the vehicles, but we should learn more about the game at E3 2017 in June.

In another series of videos this week, we learn more about Pastor Jerome Jeffries who you will rely on as you take on Joseph Seed and the Eden’s Gate cult in this new Far Cry game.

We also meet Nick Rye who you can rely on as a gun for hire in the game. He’s an amazing pilot who is feeling the heat from Eden’s Gate, and a person you will rely on throughout the game.

Finally, we get to see Mary May Fairgrave. She grew up in Hoppe County and after the bank took her family’s bar, The Spread Eagle, she’s fighting back against Eden’s Gate. She’ll be ready to help you out when you need it.

The Far Cry 5 release date is February 27, 2018 for PS4, Xbox One and PC. The game is available in four editions and we will learn more about the new Far Cry at E3 2017 in June.
