In a statement today, Verizon listed 14 of its devices that will definitely be getting the upgrade to Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich in the future. Unfortunately, it declined to specify as to exactly when owners would be getting the update. But, as we well know, that would just be setting everyone up for disappointment.

Now, if you’re phone isn’t here, don’t despair just yet.

Verizon will be updating the page throughout the year as more information becomes available so there is still hope for some of you.

This is something, this transparency in terms of Android updates, that we wanted to see from the mobile world in 2012 and it’s nice to see that Verizon has stepped up to the plate and delivered this list to its customers.

Now, how about some release dates?

We kid, we kid.
