We’ll certainly be bringing you all the latest from PDC2008 here on the pages of GottaBeMobile. All of the focus will be on Windows 7 and I’m sure there will be lots of info and lots of commentary all over the web. But, if you’re looking for more real time info you might want to check out two of FriendFeed’s features. FriendFeed, a social networking service, allows you to follow friends and pick up info from whatever sources they choose to pipe into the service. They also allow users to create rooms and pump that information into those rooms for a more select view on a specific topis. There is a PDC2008 Room.

But the newest FriendFeed addition is a real time view that allows you to see info flowing in as soon as its posted. Of course the info you receive depends on someone posting it there, but you can watch it scroll by. Some post directly to FriendFeed, some of the info comes in from their blogs, Twitter, Identi.ca, Flickr, or whatever service a user might be feeding into FriendFeed.

As of this moment there are only 20 folks signed up in the room and it will be interesting to see if more join in as the conference kicks off on Monday. I picked this up from Loren Heiny, so I know we’ll see some of his excellent observations there.

You can also follow Warner, Rob, Matt Faulkner, John Gannon, and Truc on FriendFeed as well if you’re interested or check out the GottaBeMobile room.
