I keep getting when I reboot that NTrig has failed to load or locate the driver. This is happening quite ofiten. I have uninstalled the app and re-installed and still the same result. Any suggestions??
Thank you

tip: Despite the message, have you verified that the N-trig applet is, in fact, not running? I frequently get the "N-trig Applet Has to Close" message when I start up, but after closing the box, the application is always running!
Is your second message the "Could Not Connect to Driver" message? Are you starting up with anything connected to any of your USB ports? If so, that is a recognized issue with the XT. Disconnect your USB devices before starting and then plug them in after the desktop has stabilized...

As Steve indicated, this frequently happens to me when I have something plugged in to a USB port while rebooting.

tip: It's not just iTunes. I've never installed iTunes and I still periodically see these problems...

I think that I have seen a pattern that suggests to me that sometimes the problem is related to conflicts in the boot up process. I have seen this problem when I have loaded new software that sticks itself in the start up menu. ( iTunes always does) But, as Steve says, it generally goes ahead and gets itself started at some point.

Yah, it seemed to get fixed once I uninstalled iTunes, but then came up again last week. I think there may be a possibility of a USB device problem, seeing as how I usually startup on my docking station.

I had the same problem. Driver wouldnt load and thenthe picture would not rotate when going to and from tablet mode. I updated the drivers from dell's website and have not had any problems for a few weeks.

I get this message a lot and I do not have Itunes installed either. I updated the drivers to the latest version 3.32 I believe it shows. It's the update that supported multitouch but the crashes of the driver upon windows start up still happen. The version of the driver itself is 1.25.00 in device manager. Is this the latest one that you guys have?

I installed Ntrig 3.2.11.3.5 with software bundle 1.68 and driver 1.25 to get the multitouch function working. Since then I often (40% of time) have boot problems with the Ntrig not working at all. Sometimes I also see the Vista message: USB device is not working when Ntrig crashes.
The driver version I had before gave numerous blue screen crashes!
I think it is a rom part problem of the Ntrig driver. They should solve it ASAP. I paid about 4000 usd for my Dell XT machine and expected to get a better product then this.
