This is really a hoot. Thanks for setting up the thread, Rob.
I posted an update over on my blog cross-linking to this thread.(http://community.research.microsoft....e-doodler.aspx).
Since I've now replied to this thread, I'll get email notifications and consider any doodles I see here for the contest.
Have fun everyone!

PS:
I also stumbled across the tid-bit that JFK was an inveterate doodler - check out JFK's doodles from a critical meeting at the height of the cuban missle crisis!

Hmm...couldn't get my OneNote doodles to work very well (lots of lines, I guess), except for this little guy, which I quite like (:

I heard a rumor that the first person to post to this gallery woud be gifted a copy of InkSeine on the 20th of January, rather than having to wait until February 15th, at 12:01 am. Hey, that's tomorrow
, and I won! Go me!

By the way, I've been fascinated by doodles and their tie to the subconscious...one day, I'm going to collect the doodles of the famous and the not-so-famous and create a coffee table book. At least, it's a dream of mine (:
Of course, I'd probably start on it immediately if I had the right note taking software for it. OneNote is good, but something more, I don't know, pen-friendly maybe, would be better.

Ha ha! That's great. If I were Carl Sagan, I guess I would have to say that "Billions and billions of the these feral nematodes may swarm in the icy oceans of Europa..."or something like that.
Re: OneNote doodles not working well, make sure you select the strokes first and tell it to treat the selection as text. Otherwise it uses InkAnalysis to figure out that it's likely a drawing, and won't recognize it.
Oh, and nice try on InkSeine :-)

I guess my doodles will go in the "not-so-famous" chapter then.
Nice idea for a coffee table book! I'd buy it!

Okay, found another tiny doodle that worked, and it made me laugh.

By the way, the doodle was inspired by a horror novel I'm working on...created while brainstorming.

Okay, got one more to convert nicely.
