Couple of quick impressions without having spent any time looking at the tutorial....

    1. It seems to me that having the personal or web search icon and then another icon with the actual search results is one icon too many. Can't you tell by the file type in the icon if it was a personal or websearch (Excel icon or IE icon)? I guess you could link to an online spreadsheet, and would want to know it was online?
    2. It would be nice to have "move" as an option on the search result icon to easily make it drag-able somewhere else.

    Mark.

FYI, there's no "Move", but there is a "Select" option on the search / hyperlink icons. Pick that and then you can drag it. Not as direct as just dragging it though, I fully admit. We couldn't figure out a good way to make it immediately draggable but also still allow quick access to the different options on it... (Open, Cut / Copy, whatever).

As to the "one icon too many" I assume you are referring to the "search" icon that is inside of the search panel itself? The reason that is there is that depending on where you create the search, and the dimensions of your screen, in many cases the search panel may cover up the original search that you create in your notes. So there needed to be a way to access those optionsto quickly switch to Web search, etc. That is something people asked for in our very early realeases.

    Hi Ken,

Congratulations to you and your team for the outstanding job!

As an info, I can open the tutorial from within the program with no crash -maybe because it's the umpc version?
My son (10) took 30 seconds to grasp the logic of Inkseine, and had immediate fun with it. He is left-handed, and told me to thank you for having included the possibility to drag the tool arc to the left side of the screen -very handy for him.
Now I go back to have fun again.

Must be the CX because it works fine on my M200. I'll have to figure out what the cursor thing is though on the CX as it is pretty annoying.

Guys, please go through his tutorial. Wow, everything is in there and it is fun to learn!!

These are my impressions so far...
    1. Virtually all tablets are made in 12" screen and even though it has enough space to write but I can't expand space between lines or even if I do the space of the page has little to space on. Printing for example can be wasteful because my tablet real estate is 12 inches and inkseine cannot efficiently manage the page well...

    2. The Scroll bar is sooo coooollll!!!!! This is a welcome addition to tablet's bag of tricks.

    3. Without a doubt, the search function is simply extremely convenient and what a joy to use.

    4. However, it is not journal killer yet and Inkseine prototype have functions that should incorporate in all inking softwares which MUST be in Onenote and Journal for next release.

    5. Writing is not as smooth and moving images are slower than Onenote....

    6. Thank you Mr. Hinckley doing Tablet PC community a great service. For this weekend I will use it together with Journal to take notes and do homeworks and see what role this program will fit my lifestyle : )
