Just saw the UK price on this baby...

    530£ !

That is an very very good price for a fully specc'ed tablet pc. Compared to the others like Dell XT2 its half the price, with better specc's.

If any has hands on information on it, please do share (i would really like to exchange my Dell XT with 2hours battery life to something with 6-8 hours).

Looks nice! According to Google, that's about $860 US dollars. Quite a deal. I wish it gave more details about the digitizer, but I have to say that if I had the money lying around, I'd bite on this.

Its going to be less then $860 in US, $600 is more likely (in EU we have higher Tax on everything).

One of my problems now is with Tablets getting out to the masses, and the seemingly reduced emphasis on Active Digitizers. I am a little concerned that the verbiage "accepts finger and pen input", does not necessarily translate into "active digitizer". At this price, do we think that maybe this is a consumer level tablet that will not be suitable for true office work and effective digital inking (much like the netbook Tablets that are on the street from Gigabyte and Asus?).

At $600, I would be very surprised if it wasn't a consumer level device. However, it is possible to get decent inking on a consumer device. HP's TX2500 and TX2, for example. They have their issues, but the inking is good.

I've been using a Fujitsu P1620 for some time and can attest that the inking experience with the passive digitizer is very good-not as nice as an active digitizer-but very useful.

What will make the difference with a passive digitizer is the palm rejection incorporated into the device. If it is good, as in the Fujitsu P series, ink is usable. If it isn't good, inking is useless.
