on

New Samsung Galaxy Note 4 release date details continue to emerge and they show consumers that while the exact Galaxy Note 4 release date is unknown, progress continues to be made behind the scenes as retailers start to prepare for the arrival of Samsung’s Next Big Thing.

Back on September 3rd, Samsung took the stage at its Unpacked 2014 Episode 2 launch event and introduced several new products including an Apple Watch competitor called Gear S, a new product category in the Galaxy Note Edge, and an iPhone 6 Plus competitor dubbed Galaxy Note 4. The Galaxy Note 4 is the company’s new flagship Galaxy Note and it will replace the Galaxy Note 3 at some point later on this year.

On stage, Samsung confirmed the Galaxy Note 4 release date for October, both globally and for the United States, though the company and its partners failed to elaborate leaving consumers hanging as Apple gears up for its iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus release date.

The specific Galaxy Note 4 release date remains missing in action but we have seen it make progress behind the scenes as it inches toward the confirmed Galaxy Note 4 release date in October.

We’ve seen the international variant pass through Bluetooth certifications and the FCC, two bodies that need to look it over before it can be released and  we’ve also seen the AT&T, Sprint, T-Mobile, and Verizon Galaxy Note 4 variants cruise past the FCC on their way to shelves. Despite Samsung’s silence, we’re seeing new Galaxy Note 4 release details emerge on a daily basis.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 release rumors point to October 3rd and 10th.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 release rumors point to October 3rd, 10th and the week of the 13th.

Today, UK retailer Clove outlined its plans for Galaxy Note 4 accessories, one of the key components to the Galaxy Note 4 release date. The retailer has splayed out a number of Galaxy Note 4 accessories, including official accessories, that are now available ahead of the Galaxy Note 4 release date. These listings also out official pricing ahead of the Galaxy Note 4 release date, something that it help consumers to better prepare ahead of October.

This is just another step in the progression of the Galaxy Note 4 release and it looks like retailers are starting to make their final preparations as we head into October. Unfortunately, it doesn’t out the Galaxy Note 4 release date itself, a date that is now rumored for early-to-mid October.

In recent days, we’ve seen two October release dates pop up. Dutch retailers have pointed to an estimated Galaxy Note 4 release on October 10th. A more recent listing on Amazon points to October 3rd. Yesterday, we saw another very specific Galaxy Note 4 release window emerge.

According to Clove, the Galaxy Note 4 release date, at least in the United Kingdom, should arrive the week of October 13th. It doesn’t call out a specific release date which means that consumers can expect it somewhere between October 13th to October 17th. While this applies to the UK, the UK is typically on the front lines of key Samsung releases which means that we could see a global release that week as well.

The retailer also confirmed the Galaxy Note 4 price and says that the device can now be ordered for £479.17 (£575 inc. VAT). That is for the SIM-free international Galaxy Note 4 variant. Galaxy Note 4 pricing will almost certainly vary depending on retailer, carrier and region so consumers shouldn’t invest too much into this pricing yet.

Apple’s iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 Plus are both set to arrive this Friday which means that they will almost certainly beat the Galaxy Note 4 to shelves in the U.S. and elsewhere.

The Galaxy Note 4 release date remains out of reach, we do know what to expect from the Galaxy Note 4 specs. The Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will be loaded up with new features including a new 5.7-inch Quad HD display, Snapdragon 805 processor from Qualcomm, 16MP camera with Optical Image Stabilization, new design that features plastic and metal, 32GB of storage, Android 4.4.4 KitKat, new software, and a brand new S Pen.

It will replace the Galaxy Note 3 as the company’s flagship and join the new Galaxy Note Edge as the company’s two large screen smartphone options during this year’s holiday shopping season.

Apple watch is a competitor to the Gear S, not the other way around you piece of shit. It really pisses me off that even though the gear line of wearables was released first, you make apples line of wearables that the industry standard. This is even considering the fact that the gear s was launched before the apple watch and that the apple watch was released in response to samsungs smartwatches.

I’m not sure if i’d go as far as to call him a piece of shit, but I was also very upset with the apple bias of this article. I especially hated when he said that the note 4 is an iphone plus competitor. Wrong, the note has been out for years, apple is just jumping on the giant phone bandwagon. If you’re going to write an article and want to be taken seriously, keep to the facts, oh and make sure the facts are right.

The Note 4 was announced before the iPhone 6, and the Note line has been on the market for years. This makes the iPhone 6 a competitor to the Note 4, not the other way around.
