Galaxy Note 5 Software

Google's not expected to release its Android M update until late August or September which means that the Galaxy Note 5 probably won't have it on board. The next logical choice is Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and that's precisely what Galaxy Note 5 benchmarks suggest it will have on board.

Android 5.1.1 Lollipop is Google's most recent version of Lollipop and it's an update that Samsung's been rolling out to numerous devices since June. It comes with a number of key bug fixes and enhancements though it's not clear how the Galaxy Note 5's version of Android 5.1.1 will look.

Samsung typically introduces new software features on new devices but it's not clear what that might mean for the Galaxy Note 5.
