Another thing we needed to quickly touch on are the specs. These are two high-end powerful devices, but LG is a slightly cheaper device that isn't nearly as powerful. This allows for the price to be lower, which is also something to consider. That said, here's the hard numbers for those who'd like to know every last detail.

Galaxy Note 5 Specs

  • 5.7-inch 2560 x 1440 Quad-HD S-AMOLED Display
  • Samsung Exynos 8-core processor with 4GB of RAM
  • 32, 64GB storage options (no Micro-SD slot)
  • 16 Megapixel OIS Camera (like the Galaxy S6)
  • 5 Megapixel front-facing camera
  • Android 5.1 Lollipop
  • Premium Galaxy S6-like all glass and aluminum design
  • Fingerprint scanner
  • Fast Charging, Fast Wireless Charging
  • 3,000 mAh battery
  • S-Pen Stylus
  • more

LG G4 Specs
  • 5.5-inch 2560 x 1440 Quantum HD Display
  • 6-core Snapdragon Processor with 3GB of RAM
  • 32GB of storage and a micro-SD Slot (free 32GB SD card from LG too)
  • 16 Megapixel rear camera with laser auto-focus and optical image stabilization
  • 8 Megapixel Wide-angle front selfie camera
  • Android 5.1 Lollipop
  • IR Sensor for Remote Control
  • 6 Genuine Leather backs, three plastic colors
  • 3,000 mAh battery

They are somewhat similar, but the Galaxy Note 5 has an 8-core processor vs only 6 from LG. It also has more RAM and a bigger screen. However, LG has an IR port, customization, and could have better battery life due to a slightly less hungry processor and the smaller display.
