Note 5 vs LG G4 Price

Last but certainly not least is the price. With the LG G4 being a few months old, not quite as powerful, and not a Samsung, it's priced significantly lower. This should help make up the decision for many potential buyers.

The Galaxy Note 5 will vary by carrier, and payment plans are also something to consider. That said, a quick look at AT&T shows the Galaxy Note 5 for $299 with a new 2-year contract, or $739 for the 32GB model, and $839 for the 64GB model. Ouch.

The 32GB LG G4 from AT&T is $629 outright, and only $99 with a new 2-year contract. Add in a micro-SD card for much less than $100, and you have more storage for less than you'd pay for the 64GB Galaxy Note 5.

It's also worth noting the LG G4 (for the US) can be found from places like Amazon for under $500 these days, making it well over $200 cheaper than the Galaxy Note 5. That said, payment plans make these only a few dollars apart, so choose wisely no matter which smartphone you choose.
