Galaxy S5 vs Galaxy S4 vs Galaxy Note 3: Galaxy S5 Photos Show All

The Samsung Galaxy S5 leaked out well ahead of the Galaxy S5 live stream, offering a good look at one of the rumored Galaxy S5 models from every angle.

This new leak shows the Galaxy S5, Galaxy S4 and Galaxy Note 3 side-by-side and reveals a larger Galaxy S device with a better camera. This collection of Galaxy S5 leaks includes a plastic Galaxy S5 model, but there is a rumor that Samsung plans to release two models, including a premium one with a metal design.

This new collection of Galaxy S5 photos from three sources match and match the silhouette of the Galaxy S5 used in the Live stream teaser. It is not surprising to see leaks show the look of the Galaxy S5 ahead of the show.

A series of photos show a Galaxy S5 that looks surprisingly similar to the Galaxy S4, given talk that Samsung planned to wow consumers with a new look that set the device apart from the Galaxy S4.

The Galaxy S5 photo above shows a device that is noticeably larger than the Galaxy S4 thanks to a larger display, but still smaller than the Galaxy Note 3. This photo leaked on SaudiAndroid overnight where it was spotted by Nowhereelse.fr. The Galaxy S5 photos confirm many of the rumored Galaxy S5 specs and features.

The Samsung Galaxy S5 shown in these leaked photos includes a silver trim along the side of the device, this is similar to the Galaxy S4. There is a new textured back with pores or dimples that look similar to a golf ball on the back of the device. This is a new texture and departure from the smooth finish on the back of the Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S3. As the photos below show, it is available in a number of colors including white, gold and black.

The front of the Galaxy S5 reveals a larger display than the Galaxy S4, in line with a 5.25-inch display that we’ve heard rumored. Multiple Galaxy S5 photos show a larger display from two sources, which adds to the evidence that this is the real Galaxy S5.

The Galaxy S5 looks to be about the same thickness as the Galaxy S4, as shown in the photo below.

Galaxy S5 dimensions show a taller device, but not one that is much thicker.

There is a USB 3.0 port on the bottom of the device which will allow for faster data transfers. The port is covered which lines up with the claim that the Galaxy S5 is dust and waterproof, even with a removable back.

With the back off users can see a removable battery that looks larger than the Galaxy S4 battery and shows a higher 10.78Wh rating. With the back off we also see a Micro SD card slot to add storage to the device.

In another photo we get a look at a camera app that includes a selection menu complete with a 16M option, which lines up with rumors that the Galaxy S5 will offer an improved camera.

On the back there is also a speaker, which is a downside for many users, but in line with Samsung design. There is also a photo showing a Finger Scanner app that points to the rumored fingerprint reader. Other Galaxy S5 photos show a new lock screen with a camera icon in the lower right similar to the iPhone location. We also get a look at a new home screen and My Magazine layout and tweaks to the look of TouchWiz. There is also a new fitness app.
