GBM Shortcut: Waterfield Designs Laptop Muzetto Bag Video Review

Published

on

muzetto_large_carried_mdI’ve been looking for a bag like Waterfield Design’s Laptop Muzetto for a long time – leather, rugged looking, light weight, messenger type, fold over flap, plenty of pockets, and roomy enough to support either my Macbook Pro or a Tablet PC. That’s a tall order, but the Muzetto excels in all of those areas, while disappointing in only one: no protective padding in the bottom of the bag. In this GBM Shortcut video, I show why the Muzetto, while pricey, is one of the nicest and most comfortable messenger bags out there and should be on the short list of anyone looking for a great bag. The Muzetto would make for an awesome Father’s Day gift. Release your inner Jack Bauer today!

The Laptop Muzetto is $239, while the Personal Muzetto is $179.

    Rob!

Great shortcut, nice bag! Whoa! Hardly recognized you with your new, shaved down look (for summer?). Better than a towel, I would line the bottom with a strip of soft foam from packing materials, an old foam pillow, or a fabric store. Too bad they didn’t remember to do that.

Do I have to get it for my husband? Or is it okay for me, as a not too girly girl, as well. If I carry it, will other people think yours must be a purse, because they saw me with it?

If I got it for my husband, I’m pretty sure I’d end up stealing it.

thanks sharon. My son and I are focused like a laser beam on summer goals. We decided to shave our heads to give us something visual to hold on to and “bond” us together. Loving it.

Though I focused on men in the video, women will be just fine with this bag. In fact, I think it is a great bag for everyone. My wife, in fact, really wants the Personal Muzetto.

Good idea on the foam on the bottom. I’m sure SF Bags will take that feedback / tip.

Very nice. Looks a lot more manly in video than the pics on sfbags.com.

lol: mobile warrior – love it :)

Rob at waterfield webpage they are advertising for use of they laptop cases which you would then put inside of the Muzetto so that’s why, I believe, they didnt bother with more protection…

love the bag, but it’s just way too pricey for me (especially if one would want to get the laptop case as well) :(

thanks for the review tho! :)

Rob, I know I say this about, well, just about everyone, but seriously, with the new look, you are one good-looking mofo. Total honesty, in that shot, you look like a not-scary Colin Farrell as Bullseye. Your customary cap and glasses do you no favors. It could be “new Rob” making the bags look more manly.

@snowii – if that’s the case, that is disappointing. I certainly don’t want to be messing around with a case inside of a case – give me a little protection on the bottom and sides and I’d be happy.

Sorry, Rob, but no good review is complete without a Splotch stowaway. :)

You could have pulled him out and compared haircuts. haha

    Nice video.

nice review, but you need a better lighting to illuminate the stuff you review rather than exposing stove on the background :D
