Google’s Self-Driving Car on Video

Published

on

Google’s been secretly working on a driverless car out in the real world. Its engineers have already logged 140,000 miles without any problems. The software looks pretty impressive and the following demo is amazing.

As you can see in the above video, the Toyota Prius with the Google gadgets and software can dodge pedestrians.
Google says it isn’t planning to bring this technology to market, but I can’t imagine that they’ll let all this good research go to waste.

    Pretty cool.
Is that reporter reporting from her kitchen?
And does anyone believe Google when they say “no plans to bring this to market anytime soon”?
