Ahead of their scheduled launch today at an event in New York City, the Motorola Droid RAZR HD and Droid RAZR M have both appeared in official press images showing off their designs.

The EVLeaks Twitter account is up and running again and today it has produced two leaked press images, one of the Droid RAZR M which sits on the left and one of the Droid RAZR HD which is on the right.

Both devices heavily resemble the previous Droid RAZR smartphones, the Droid RAZR and Droid RAZR MAXX, something that we’ve known for awhile due to leaks.

We also see the “edge-to-edge” display which apparently will be coming on the Droid RAZR M and not the Droid RAZR HD. It appears that that feature was completely blown out of the proportion next week.

As expected, the Droid RAZR HD is a lot bigger than the Droid RAZR M which houses a 4.3-inch qHD display. The Droid RAZR HD is expected to boast a 4.6-inch display though right now, that is unconfirmed.

Fortunately, both devices will very likely be announced in less than two hours when Motorola takes the stage and debuts its new hardware, both destined for Verizon.

Previous rumors have the Droid RAZR HD featuring a large display, speedy processor, 4G LTE connectivity and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich though Motorola might opt to release it with Android 4.1 Jelly Bean instead.

As for the Droid RAZR M, it’s supposedly coming with a 4.3-inch display, 4G LTE connectivity, an 8MP rear camera, 3MP front-facing camera, global roaming capabilities, Gorilla Glass 2, a dual-core S4 processor, and Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich.

We still don’t know when either device will launch though Motorola has a penchant for announcing devices without release dates and we wouldn’t be shocked to see the same happen here with the Droid RAZR HD and the Droid RAZR M.
