These are differences measured in minutes, not hours. The iOS 7.1 battery life complaints are from users that are seeing major drops in battery life, which come without a change in use. Typically we see fast battery drain even when the screen is off. This may also show a Usage and Standby time that is the same in Settings -> General -> Usage. This would indicate a major iOS 7.1 battery life problem for the user. If you are experiencing bad battery life after the update but these times are not matching, you may still have an issue.

Turn off Siri. It was part of the update. Seems to not be draining power soo fast after that.

First Google’s Nexus 5 are facing the same battery drainage problem with their updated Android Kitkat version due to the camera apps and now iOS7 also join the android with the same issue. Even I am also facing this problem with my iphone 5S and due to this reason I have to keep my device twice on wireless charging pad. Hope their developers rectify this issue soon otherwise I have to switch to some other device. Well thanks for sharing this informative article. I will consider it to save my battery from getting drained soon.

Стереть пользовательские файлы и приложения? Вы серьезно?
Когда у вас машина начнет потреблять слишком много бензина, попробуйте выкинуть из нее всю внутреннюю отделку, сиденья, и т.д. Я уверен – поможет!

why do customers have to deal with a software problem that has been created by the most wealthy company in the world, by sacrificing all his data, settings, everything he created so far?No, just don’t update until Apple finds a solution to this or if you have already updated and exp the issue, then stop searching web to fix a problem that was not created by you and go submit your complaint to Apple and request a solution, this is your basic consumer right.

I did everything recommended here and in other places like turning off Siri, all notifications turned off, and turning down the screen to 25%. Guess what. None of that did any good. 6 hours and 42 minutes of stand by with 1 hour and 42 minutes of usage and I am at 61%. I can’t get through a day without recharging. I hope they find the issue quick and issue a fix.
