How to Type More Efficiently on the iPhone

To type more efficiently with the iPhone it is useful to use the touch type method. What this means is that when typing on iPhone look at where you are typing not at the letters themselves.

Touch Type

This is very similar to the way that a user types on a pc. It looks silly when someone is staring at the keys themselves and pecking their way around the keyboard. Applying this to an iPhone increases the speed at which a user can type and also improve the accuracy in spelling and prevent embarrassing autocorrections.

How to Turn on Caps Lock on the iPhone

Many users also may find it useful to enable caps lock. Just like on any other keyboard caps lock makes all the letters appear as capital. This can be used for capitalizing an entire word or maybe longer compared to pressing shift for each individual letter.

Double Tap the shift key to enable Caps Lock.

If the shift key then turns blue like the image above that indicates that Caps Lock is enabled. Tap shift again to go back to regular capitalization.
