How to Use Webtop on the Droid Bionic [Videos]

Published

on

The Motorola Droid Bionic is similar to the Atrix 4G, in that it has a Webtop application and a collection of accessories designed to help you be more productive on the go.

Webtop is an application, that when paired with one of the right accessories, will turn your phone into a laptop or into a hub for productivity.

In this mode, you can connect your Droid Bionic to an HDTV, Monitor or the Lapdock and use a full version of Firefox, allowing you to get work done without bringing your notebook with you.

If you’re just getting started with the Droid Bionic, check out our collection of how to videos for beginners and a look at how to use the built in apps on the Droid Bionic.

I am so glad I bought the bionic if just for the weptop app feature. I invented this 20 years ago (in my mind) and now someone finally has done it. I have a superfine 55″ Sony Bravia that I hook my Bionic to and use a wireless keyboard/mouse and kick back in my leather recliner and I am instantly in heaven. This is so awesome. I can even take calls while I surf. Absolutely no buyers regret here. This is so much fun :)

Good to hear Ryan. I’m hoping for a software hack soon that will output webtop via the HDMI cable alone. I don’t want to haul around extra hardware ;)
