HTC One X Photo Reveals Capacitive Buttons, Sense 4.0

The HTC One X has been teased since early February, and now we can finally share the first photo of the HTC One X.

The One X is a new Android smartphone from HTC with a quad-core processor and Sense 4.0. The HTC One X likely uses the new NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad core processor, detailed this morning.

The HTC One X has a 4.7 inch display with a 720P resolution and has the three capacitive buttons that Android 4.0 phones are adopting.

HTC One X leaked press photo.

Based on a previous leak, we are expecting a 1.5GHz Tegra 3 quad-core processor, 32GB of storage, 1GB RAM and an 8MP camera on the rear. There is a 1.3 MP front facing camera for video chats.

The One brand name represents a rebranding effort by HTC as it attempts to recover from lackluster launches in 2011 like the HTC ThunderBolt.

The new HTC One X press image includes a look at the button layout of this Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich phone and closer look at the HTC Sense 4.0 skin. It is interesting to see what manufacturers are doing with Android 4.0 skins, and like the leaked RAZR MotoBlor Android 4.0 skin there appears to be a new happy medium between skinning and leaving Android 4.0 features in place.

We expect a formal announcement of the HTC One X during Mobile World Congress in Barcelona starting next week, when the HTC ends the teasing and offers up some concrete specs, and hopefully some pricing and release date information.

Stay tuned for more MWC 2012 coverage.

Come on HTC, do not follow but lead like you use too such as the HD2 etc.

I currently use the Samsung Galaxy Note which is the best phone/tablet to date at 5.3″ screen dual core.

What i need to change from this phone to another is keeping the same dimension as the Galaxy Note but with a 5.6″ HD screen, quad core etc, physic law may not allow this so I am willing to compromise with a little larger dimension.

BUT PICK UP YOUR GAME HTC. You were the first to use the 5″ HTC Advantage and abandon the screen estate and now look at Samsung, they have shipped over a 1 million Galaxy Note…

    ENOUGH SAID
