Huge DROID Turbo Deal Slashes Price by $150

Following the successful launch of the new Moto X, Moto G, and the Motorola-made Nexus 6, Motorola and Verizon also released a brand new smartphone this year called the DROID Turbo. It’s arguably one of the best smartphones of 2014, and a new DROID Turbo deal was announced today offering up to $150 in savings.

As we push deeper in December more and more deals have continued to surface for many smartphones and tablets, and the DROID Turbo from Verizon Wireless and Best Buy is the latest one worth checking out, and possibly one of the better deals we’ve seen this month.

Best Buy’s weekly Green Monday deal has the new DROID Turbo for essentially $100 off for existing customers, or $150 off for new subscribers that pick up the smartphone from Best Buy stores. It’s the exclusive Ballistic Blue color too, and you’ll want to read on for more details.

Verizon and Motorola have been releasing popular “DROID” smartphones for years, and in 2014 the new DROID Turbo is quite possibly the best release yet. Offering a premium flagship smartphone with higher end speakers than almost any smartphone released this year, and it came out rather impressive in our review linked to below.

The deal was announced this morning by Best Buy, which is worth checking out if you’re interested in the new DROID Turbo. The company isn’t offering a straight up $100 discount on the smartphone, but rather a $100 or $150 Best Buy gift card with purchase of the new smartphone.

According to the fine print Best Buy is offering a $100 gift card with purchase of the DROID Turbo with a 2-year upgrade or Verizon Edge for existing customers, or $150 gift card (essentially $150 off to spend elsewhere) for new customers signing a 2-year contract, or of course, signing up for Verizon Edge and making monthly payments.

As you can see from the image above, the deal is live as of yesterday and will be available from now until December 13th, so buyers have a few days to decide if it’s the right smartphone for them.
