Why take away my inline auto complete?
We’ve cut the inline auto complete feature in the Address Bar in IE8. This option was disabled by default in IE7 and has been removed from the Address Bar in IE8. However the advanced option that controls the behavior will still exist, because other parts of Windows will still use this functionality if the user chooses to enable it Ã¢â‚¬” just not the Address Bar.
I use that all the time – Firefox has this ability – and I believe in the release notes it says it’s enhanced… Is it time to make the switch for good??? If they take away my auto complete, it might be…
