iOS 8.4.1 Release: What We Know So Far

iOS 8.4.1 Beta Performance

Apple isn't going to talk about iOS 8.4.1 performance ahead of its release but thanks to beta testers, we at least have some idea about what to expect from the iOS 8.4.1 update's performance on select versions of the iPhone and iPad. 

Beta testers in the developer program have been releasing videos showcasing the update on devices like the iPhone 5s, iPhone 4s, and iPad 3. From what we can tell, the update is essentially a mirror image of Apple's iOS 8.4 update that was released at the end of June. 

We haven't heard about or seen any major problems in the beta and that means that there's a very good chance that iOS 8.4.1 will uphold the excellent performance that many iPhone and iPad users got with Apple's current iOS 8 update.
