iOS 9.2 Performance

Over the past 21 days, we've learned a ton about the iOS 9.2 update and its early performance on the iPhone and iPad.

After the first iOS 9.2 beta we learned that the update delivered multitasking improvements on the iPhone 4s. We also learned that the update eradiated 3D Touch lag on the iPhone 6s Plus.

After the iOS 9.2 beta 3, we learned that the camera app was launching faster for some iPhone 6 users. We also learned that the iPhone 6s "requires less time holding the power button to turn the device on than previous versions."

And while it's still early, we're seeing some users post some initial feedback about the iOS 9.2 beta 4 update and its performance.

Apple's new beta has only been out for a few hours and we expect feedback about its performance to pick up as more developers and testers get their hands on it.

We've been monitoring feedback for several weeks now and overall, it looks like iOS 9.2 is running well on most devices, even older ones like the iPhone 5s.

According to a poll on MacRumors, 47% of voters think that iOS 9.2 is an improvement over iOS 9.1's performance. It's still early but we're off to a good start.

Wow… That list of bugs was kind of dumb. Is it really a bug when you swipe NCdown while calling Siri. Who would do both at the same time. -.-
