Apple
iOS 9 Release Date: 12 Things to Get Excited About
iOS 9 Keyboard | |||||||||||||
The iOS 9 keyboard will deliver some key improvements to iPhone and iPad users. First off, Apple's modified the Shift key and the backspace key. The new look to the keyboard can be seen in this image. iOS 9 makes it easier to see when you have the Shift key turned on. It can be a little confusing in iOS 8. Apple is also set to deliver a new Shortcut Bar that makes it easier to bold, italicize and copy and paste. There will be third-party support for the Shortcut Bar which means that these tools will appear in some of your favorite applications. That's big. There's also a brand new gesture on iPad that allows you to use two-fingers to highlight text. If you're a heavy iPad user, either at home or at work, this will be very useful. | |||||||||||||

Small edit “It’s a feature that’s been around in Google Maps for a while but if you’re an avid Apple Maps user, this will be a key iOS 9 ingredient for both of you”
