Apple hasn't even confirmed an iOS 9 release date and we're already hearing about the major iOS 9 update that will come to replace it later this year. iOS 9.1 will reportedly be the first major update to the iOS 9 update it will undoubtedly feature enhancements and fixes. X.1 updates are always much bigger than your standard bug fixers. The first major iOS update after the initial iOS 9 release date will reportedly include enhancements for key features like split-Screen apps and the new picture-in-Picture video playback. The enhancements are expected to be for the new 12-inch iPad Pro. It's not clear who will be getting the update but we typically see Apple release its x.1 updates for everyone, not just iPad users. | ||||||||
