iOS 9 Release: What We Know So Far

Now that we know Apple's planning a big announcement for September 9th, the iOS 9 release date has narrowed even further. The iOS 9 release date should land sometime between September 9th and September 28th. September 9th is the launch date and September 28th is the end of Apple's fiscal year. We fully expect Apple to get its new iPhones out by September 28th. iOS releases always come a few days before the arrival of a new iPhone so there's a very good chance we'll see the iOS 9 release come right before the company releases its new iPhones. | ||||||||

There is a pattern Apple has followed throughout the years and releases of these updates. Last year, (iOS 8 release) the date of release was September 17. And the year before that (iOS 7) was on September 18, and so on. So this year we most likely can conclude that it will be released on the 16th of September.
