The iPad mini release date in the U.S. is set for November 2nd for the WiFi only version and November 16th for the WiFi + Cellular models with LTE. Apple will start taking iPad mini pre-orders for both models on October 26th, likely at midnight Pacific / 3 AM Eastern. Apple will likely sell out of the iPad mini for release day delivery within a day of launch.
