iOS 9.0.2 Performance

If you're on an older version of iOS and you still haven't upgraded to iOS 9.0.2, you're going to want to keep tabs on the software as we push towards the iOS 9.1 release date.

iOS 9.0.2 is the most current version of iOS 9 and it brings some excellent bug fixes for iOS 9 problems. If you haven't installed iOS 9 yet, iOS 9.0.2 will deliver iOS 9.0's features and iOS 9.0.1's bug fixes as well. It's an important update all around.

For some of you, iOS 9.0.2 will perform well and fix bugs. For others, it could introduce problems. We've been using it for a week and we continue to experience issues with the speed of the UI.

If you're having a solid experience on iOS 9.0.1 or below, you'll want to take your time with iOS 9.0.2. Dig into our review and keep an eye on iOS 9.0.2 feedback as we move away from its release date.

In the end, you might decide that the update is worth the risk. You also might decide that you're going to skip it in favor of the iOS 9.1 update. For whatever it's worth, we've heard good things about the iPhone 5 iOS 9.1 update's performance.

I haven’t upgraded to the 6 because I’m still really happy with my iPhone 5. It’s been dropped and has taken the odd swim, and I’ve never needed to replace the screen or battery. I’m hopeful that this new update from Apple will prolong my 5, but an Otterbox would likely help with that as well! Thanks for your review.
