With so much security in place, Apple could increase the capabilities of Passbook, offering users an iWallet. Earlier this  year Apple won a patent for a motion based payment system using the iPhone.

With this method, users could swipe to iOS devices next to each other to make a payment. When paired with a fingerprint reader, Apple could secure the transaction, something Authentec was working on before Apple acquired it.

There are signs Apple will not include NFC in the iPhone 5S, which could put mobile payments on hold, but it remains an interesting security related patent.

Apple needs to concentrate on screen size to match Samsung and the Galaxy S line. we’re tired of this little phone.

Why doesn’t Apple come out with an update to Passcode lock that doesn’t allow a person to switch the device off while Passcode lock is enabled ?
That way if the device is stolen and you have your mobile data activated, which most of us have, you can still track the device using FindMyiPhone.

That would be a great Security feature !!!
