iPhone 5s Deal Drops Price to $1 at Best Buy with Trade

Published

on

A new iPhone 5s deal cuts the price of the iPhone 5s to $1 on a two-year contract at Best Buy today and Saturday March 1st with the trade of a working iPhone 4s or iPhone 5.

This is one of the best iPhone 5s deals we’ve seen since Black Friday and it is a better deal than trading in a iPhone 4s at a third-party. While there is chatter of an iPhone 6 release in about six months, this is one of the best ways to get $150 for an old 8GB or 16GB iPhone 4s as long as you are eligible for a new contract.

This iPhone 5s deal drops the price of the iPhone 5s from $199 to $149.99 for the next two days and promises a minimum $150 Best Buy gift card for a working iPhone 5 or iPhone 4s. If you qualify for a new two-year contract on Verizon, AT&T and Sprint this is a good deal to look into.

Users will need to go in to a local Best Buy store to trade in the iPhone 5 or iPhone 4s for an iPhone 5s. While this is a good deal, we don’t expect Best Buy to be out of stock on specific colors. This deal is only valid on the 16GB model of the iPhone 5s. This is the cheapest iPhone 5s model thanks to the lower storage limit, which may not be enough for every user, but it remains a good choice for many users.

iPhone 5s deals with a trade can offer a lot of value to users, but it is a good idea to check the trade-in value of the iPhone 5 and iPhone 4s at Gazelle or even on eBay. The iPhone 4s trade in values for the 8GB and 16GB models on Verizon are around $80 in fair condition, which means users get almost double the value by trading in at Best Buy during this promotion. The AT&T iPhone 4s is worth $120 to $130 at Gazelle, but users still get more value from Best Buy.

It is not worth trading in the iPhone 5 for this deal. Gazelle offers at least $200 for the iPhone 5 on Verizon or AT&T, which is $50 more than the Best Buy deal promises. Best Buy’s $150 deal is a minimum, so users may still get a good deal at Best Buy, but it is important to know the best deal before going in to Best Buy.

Users should back up their current iPhone 4s or iPhone 5 before heading in to Best Buy to make the process go smoother. Make sure to reset the iPhone 5 or iPhone 4s before passing it off to a Best Buy Mobile Employee to keep your data safe.

I went to 2 Best Buy store. They have the deal but their system will not allow me to upgrade. The guys told me that my account is flagged and I can only upgrade thru AT&T. Nobody knows the reason and they only said it happens. I feel that this promo is a sham.

I did the trade up today. My husband so graciously used his 4s to upgrade my number to a 5s. He’s using my 4 now. It was so smooth and no strings attached. This deal was incredible!!

Target is doing a similar deal all this week. I’ve already seen two people get p iPhone 5s for $8 or less with trade in, and if you trade in an iPhone 5, then you’ll walk away with a new 5s plus money in your pocket!
