Big Carrier Changes

In the buildup to the iPhone 6s release date, we've seen carriers make some big changes to their data plans and fees. If you're thinking about buying the iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus, you'll want to be aware of these as we move closer to the release date.

Today, Verizon revealed new data plans and they're going to kill off two-year contracts. It's something that we told you would be happening very soon and it has. The change comes a few weeks after Apple stopped selling the AT&T iPhone 6 on contract through the Apple Store.

Earlier this month, AT&T made some big changes as well. The company has upped the activation fee on two year contracts to $45 and it has introduced a $15 upgrade fee for those looking to buy the iPhone 6s or iPhone 6s Plus on AT&T Next.

We'll probably see more carrier changes emerge in the buildup to the iPhone 6s release date so you'll want to keep your eyes open.
