Another huge part of any phone purchase is the camera. In 2015 the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Note 5 beat Apple for having the best camera in a smartphone, but LG claims to have something better than the Galaxy S6. Real-world tests have them on-par, or Samsung slightly winning, which means the G4 should match or beat the iPhone 6.
However, the iPhone 6s received a huge boost to the camera. It went from 8 megapixels to a bigger, better, more accurate 12 megapixel shooter, and a 5MP front camera. Apple claims this is the best camera on any iPhone, which means it could take the crown back for having the best camera in a smartphone. We'll need to try it before we comment, but it looks promising. At the same time, the G4 is more than capable enough for all users, and the 8 megapixel front camera produces some of the best selfies around. |

Excellent article! Having a rough time choosing an upgrade from my GS4, My spouse is waiting out the Iphone 6s and I’m tempted to do the same but having a removable battery and expandable storage does make the LG G4 a lot more future proof!
